The fact that Squelch replaces itself by letting you draw a card is also a powerful trick, reducing the steepness of the 1U mana cost . Because consider this: for Squelch to work, you need to have 2 mana untapped, which can prove just a mana too much, especially when trying to counter something in the early turns of the match.

Conspiracy was one reprint too much. Edric sees some fringe play in Legacy, but too little to keep a price up after another reprint. Just so you know: you can pick up a conspiracy copy for only $1.77.
Cheap pickup of the week: Pernicious Deed ($12.94)

Conspiracy again. The reprint has caused Pernicious deed to plummet in value. Good news for those of you that want to play Legacy: it makes the Nic-Fit deck slightly cheaper (again). You can pickup a Nic-Fit deck for an AVG between $800 and $1000 dollar. So, in most cases cheaper than modern. But sadly, not that competitive.
