Breaking News

The "Precious" has been dethroned. CGC cards, a collectible card grading company, announced that it has given an Alpha Edition Black Lotus an astonishing 10 grade, and that that card has been sold for a record-breaking $3 million dollars.

The card was sold by Adam Cai of Pristine Collectibles, a retailer known for dealing in high-end trading cards, to a currently unknown buyer (Posty, that you again?)

The previous record for most expensive Magic card sold was made last year when Post Malone purchased the fabled 1-of-1 Ring, a variant of The One Ring of which only one copy was printed, for $2 million. The previous record for an Alpha Edition Black Lotus sale happened last year, where the card sold at auction for $540,000.

Stay tuned for other news and updates.
