Happy Thanksgiving to all American readers who are reading this article while your family is catching up and you don't want to hear about your great-aunts hip-replacement for the third time. This week we mostly see fluctuations because of Commander, but I managed to squeeze one winner in there because of Legacy.

Like every week, just in time for FNM, I'll now tell you about the cards that will be the talk of the town tonight!

Come discuss this week's price movements with us on Reddit.

#1 Drogskol Reaver $17.95 (+259%)

Drogskol Reaver

This Spirit went up quite a bit last week, and it is all due to commander. For 7 mana you will get a 3/5 Flying, Double Strike, Lifelink, and whenever you gain life you draw a card. Those are quite some stats on a creature, especially since there are obviously more ways to gain life than to just attack with Drogskol Reaver. But if you do, you get to draw two cards because of Double Strike.

It is a great upgrade to include in your Crimson Vow: Spirit Squadron deck, or any other Commander deck that revolves around Millicent, Restless Revenant.

However, I can imagine that this may not be the most impressive creature you have ever seen, so why is this worth $18 all of the sudden? Well, this card has greatly suffered from the "Game Knights-effect". It was featured in Game Knights last week in a Millicent, Restless Revenant deck, which spiked demand.

#2 Pact of the Serpent $4.99 (+103%)

Pact of the Serpent

This card was printed in the Elven Empire Commander deck from Commander: Kaldheim. For only three mana you can let target play draw cards and lose life equal the number of the chosen creature type they control. This could either draw you a bunch of cards, but also could potentially finish your opponent if they happen to play a tribal deck.

Since it works well with any tribal, as long as it plays , it could be easily slotted into quite a few commander decks. This card can be used as upgrade to, for example, Undead Unleashed or Vampiric Bloodline. It has gotten some extra attention because of the Innistrad sets where we obviously see a lot of new black cards as Vampires or Zombies.

But again, it got mentioned on Game Knights in an Edgar, Charmed Groom deck.

#3 Seeds of Innocence $10.13 (+40%)

Seeds of Innocence

I really wanted to include a card this week that wasn't about commander, and the first one that I noticed was Seeds of Innocence. Be wary that this card is on the reserved list, so the price is a bit easier to tamper with, but we see this card show up as sideboard card in some Legacy lists. The main target for sideboarding this in is the 8-Cast deck that runs a lot of very cheap artifacts.

Also with a more strong focus on Treasure, Food, and Clues in commander I can see this card being more popular there as well.

Premium Preview

Premium users have some extra functionalities, one of which is the extra Trends. This is a single example of these trends of Oboro, Palace in the Clouds. This card is not new and has been spiking several times since March 2020. Interestingly, the average price has been on the decline for the past few months, however the market price is steadily climbing.

Cheap Pickups

Please note: for our 'record low' we consider the price of the card over the past 7 years. Many cards have been even cheaper (a) decade(s) ago. Also note: some cards are still going down, and might be even cheaper pickups next week.
