Preparing for Neon Dynasty

The release on Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty was the first major expansion release since the launching of MTGStocks Premium and it was ready to put these features a little bit to the test for ourselves. We tried to leverage them to find out how we can benefit from them to find cards that .

For this we researched what this new Kamigawa set would be about. We knew it would be about Ninjas and most likely Samurai and used the MTGStocks Premium Price Alerts to find the cards that would be most appealing as feature to use. First we selected several of the more powerful Ninjas and Samurai. The easy solution would be to just buy a bunch from all of them, but you would most likely also end up with a bunch of cards that weren't really playable. Instead we just set price alerts for them and set those prices a couple of percent above their current average and market price. As soon as the market would start to move for a certain card we would know about it.

And indeed, alerts came in for cards within a few minutes after a notable spoiler, meaning you could quickly act on this. By targeting both the average and market price in the alerts we would know when the average price would start rising, meaning the bottom ones would be bought out. These alerts made sure we had time to visit other places we could buy them and potentially get a few. This way MTGStocks Premium will quickly pay for itself.
