One Week Of Feedback

06 Mar
by MTGStocks

Last week we deployed the "Feedback" button you (hopefully) see in the bottom right of your screen. It was a little bit of a risk since you never know how much will come in and time is limited, but if there's one thing we have always done it is listening to the community and our users. Obviously we are never able to do all feature requests or ideas you come up with. They are either too complex, too "expensive" to perform, or simply too narrow to fit into the already existing functionality. But all feedback sent is being read and considered.

Several questions have pertained around the interests, and I simply can't stress enough that the Interests page has a Filters option where you can determine yourself how many interests you see based on multiple settings. Several questions are easily answered by this.

Here's a little article to show you what we did with feedback that was entered. For example, we received a few reports that some data was inconsistent. The following cards and pages have been fixed:

In addition, the following changes have been performed and are deployed:

  • When using filters on sets, these filters will be remembered when using the "Back" button.
  • Interests that have spiked so much that it's unlikely (not impossible!) to be organic demand, will be flagged with a warning.
  • The Feedback button will be smaller on mobile devices.
  • We have added some items to the FAQ to make sure we mention some abbreviations we use throughout the website and explain the different price points we offer.

We are not sure whether the Feedback widget will stay, or maybe we only show it for one or two weeks every few months, but we do want to make it easier for users to drop us a small message and keep the effort low. Please keep using it, and keep it constructive. Keep in mind that all feedback is 100% anonymous, so if you ask a question we cannot reach you for a reply. If you do have a question, you can also always mail us at website@mtgstocks.com.
